Centre‐loss—A preferred class verification approach over sample‐to‐sample in self‐checkout products datasets

The authors propose a Centre‐Loss approach to solve a class verification task that requires a single forward‐pass during inference. The Centre‐Loss method is validated on the publicly available dataset Fruits 360 and the self‐collected Self‐Checkout products image dataset.
