Advanced Science, EarlyView.Grancalcin (GCA), a myeloid‐derived protein, is enriched in gingival tissues of periodontitis patients and mouse models. Through interactions with CD44 and activation of MYH9, GCA promotes NF‐κB signaling and exacerbates periodontal inflammation and bone loss.

Cortical Somatostatin Neurons Regulate Seizure Susceptibility via MINAR1/Gαs–cAMP Signaling
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Our study identifies MINAR1 as a novel regulator of cortical interneuron excitability and seizure susceptibility. MINAR1 is preferentially expressed in SST+ interneurons. Genetic ablation of MINAR1 leads to seizure hypersensitivity, reduced SST+ neuron excitability, and impaired Gαs–cAMP signaling, disrupting the E/I balance.

A Metal‐Free Carbon Monoxide Prodrug Suppresses Metastasis of Pancreatic and Breast Cancer
Advanced Science, EarlyView.A metal‐free carbon monoxide (CO) prodrug, CO‐116, delivers controlled systemic CO without inhalation. CO suppresses the HRG1–heme axis, reducing intracellular heme availability. Attenuation of this pathway inhibits metastatic progression in pancreatic and triple‐negative breast cancer models.
