An Optimization Method on Ground Control Point Distribution
With the development of remote sensing, the data quantity of remote sensing image is increasing tremendously. It brings a huge workload to the image geometric correction through manual ground control point (GCP) selection. GCPs automatically selected based on software is one of the effective methods to cut down manual operation.

Ground Truth generation from automatic recognition of ground Control Points
2016 24th Signal Processing and Communication Application Conference (SIU), 2016Production of Ground Truth (GT) data for remotely sensed images is an important step for evaluation of accuracy assessment of different analyzes such as classification, geo-locatining and object detection. Geo-locationing systems for images taken from different platforms such as ground and laboratory tripod are not widespread and useful.

Design of the Ground Control Point Image Databases
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013Ground control point data is necessary in the aerospace images geometric processing. This study proposed the design solutions for the ground control point image databases. At first, this study compared the storage management manners of the control point data. Then, it analyzed the control point image data features.

Global stereo matching leveraged by sparse ground control points
CVPR 2011, 2011We present a novel global stereo model that makes use of constraints from points with known depths, i.e., the Ground Control Points (GCPs) as referred to in stereo literature. Our formulation explicitly models the influences of GCPs in a Markov Random Field.

MUlti information based Ground Control Points selection method
2011 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2011Ground Control Points (GCPs) are one of the most important data used in many fields of Remote Sensing. The number and distribution of GCPs are always the key factors for the success of some researches. A GCPs selection method by integrating the three dimensional spatial information (i.e.

Quality assessment of TerraSAR-X derived ground control points
2012 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2012The orbit accuracy of TerraSAR-X and TanDEM-X radar satellites is in the range of centimeters. This information is useful to carry out high precision surveying from space. The objective of this study is the quality assessment of ground control points (GCPs) retrieved from TerraSAR-X and TanDEM-X imagery.

Control of Ground Interaction at the Zero-Moment Point for Dynamic Control of Humanoid Robots
Proceedings of the 2005 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2006In order for stable control of humanoid robots, ground contact forces should be properly controlled for compensating the dynamic disturbances caused by unactuated body movement. The stability in the sense of the zero-moment point (ZMP), guaranteeing secure contacts during control, is a necessary condition for stable motion control.

High-Accuracy Stereo Matching Based on Adaptive Ground Control Points
IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 2015This paper proposes a novel high-accuracy stereo matching scheme based on adaptive ground control points (AdaptGCP). Different from traditional fixed GCP-based methods, we consider color dissimilarity, spatial relation, and the pixel-matching reliability to select GCP adaptively in each local support window.

Ground-target tracking control of Earth-pointing satellites
AIAA Guidance, Navigation, and Control Conference and Exhibit, 2000Many on-board payloads for monitoring, communication and Earth imaging have extensive requirements for target tracking maneuvers in many space missions. A quaternion-bas ed PID feedback control for ground-target tracking of a three-axis stabilized Earth-pointing satellite is systematically analyzed.
