The Importance of Ground Control Points In A Photogrammetric Workflow
Abstract This study investigates the optimal distribution and pattern of ground control points (GCPs) in aerial photogrammetric projects. Aerial triangulation (AT), also known as bundle adjustment, is the fundamental step in refining 3D reconstruction models and camera positions, thereby minimizing reprojection errors. The study utilizes

Evaluating LANDSAT-4 MSS and TM data [PDF]
Interband line pixel misregistrations were determined for the four MSS bands of the Mistassini, Ontario scene and multitemporal registration of LANDSAT-4 products were tested for two different geocoded scenes.

Comparative assessment of LANDSAT-4 MSS and TM data quality for mapping applications in the southeast [PDF]
The initial objectives of analyses of the MSS data are two-fold: (1) to evaluate the geodetic accuracy of CCT-P data of the test sites; and (2) to improve the geodetic accuracy by additional processing if the original data either do not meet pre-launch ...

KHS‐Cnd peptide is able to impair biofilm formation and disaggregate mature biofilms in Acinetobacter baumannii clinical isolates. Differences in extracellular metabolites reflect changes in biofilm metabolism due to KHS‐Cnd treatment. Among the differentially represented extracellular metabolites upon KHS‐Cnd treatment, the significantly altered ...

Optimizing ground control points for UAV photogrammetry: a case study in slope stability mapping
This study investigated the effect of Ground Control Point (GCP) distribution on the accuracy of UAV-based slope mapping and stability analysis. Three GCP configurations—top-only, vertical, and diagonal—were tested.

Pathogenic Neurofibromatosis type 1 gene variants in tumors of non‐NF1 patients and role of R1276
Somatic variants of the neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) gene occur across neoplasms without clinical manifestation of the disease NF1. We identified emerging somatic pathogenic NF1 variants and hotspots, for example, at the arginine finger 1276. Those missense variants provide fundamental information about neurofibromin's role in cancer.

ATP13A2 is involved in intracellular polyamine transport in lung epithelial cells
Spermidine transport in lung epithelial cells involves the polyamine transporter ATP13A2. Cell proliferation is associated with the upregulation of ATP13A2. Polyamines are present in all living cells and are implicated in various crucial cellular processes such as proliferation, apoptosis and autophagy.
