ALGORITHM FOR DIGITAL CONTROL OF THE ANTENNA OF THE GROUND CONTROL POINT OF THE UNMANNED AVIATION COMPLEX

open access: yesПроблеми створення, випробування, застосування та експлуатації складних інформаційних систем, 2019
Every year, unmanned aircraft systems are increasingly used in both the civilian and military spheres. Stable communication with an unmanned aerial vehicle is provided by high-precision pointing of the antenna of the ground control point. In the automatic tracking mode of an unmanned aerial vehicle, the antenna guidance is carried out by the automatic ...

Ground-based telescope pointing and tracking optimization using a neural controller

open access: yesNeural Networks, 2003
Neural network models (NN) have emerged as important components for applications of adaptive control theories. Their basic generalization capability, based on acquired knowledge, together with execution rapidity and correlation ability between input stimula, are basic attributes to consider NN as an extremely powerful tool for on-line control of ...

Rab14 regulates the transport of human papillomavirus to the trans‐Golgi network for infectious cell entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Automating Ground Control Point Detection in Drone Imagery: From Computer Vision to Deep Learning

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Drone-based photogrammetry typically requires the task of georeferencing aerial images by detecting the center of Ground Control Points (GCPs) placed in the field. Since this is a very labor-intensive task, it could benefit greatly from automation.

THE USE OF UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES FOR CADASTRAL MAPPING IN GHANA-ASSESSING THE EFFECT OF VARYING SENSOR TYPES, FLYING HEIGHT, IMAGE OVERLAP AND GROUND CONTROL POINT DENSITY

open access: yesAfrican Journal on Land Policy and Geospatial Sciences, 2022
Context and background In Ghana the predominant method for performing cadastral surveys is through the use of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) static surveys and to a lesser extent Total Stations.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Research on Time Series Monitoring of Surface Deformation in Tongliao Urban Area Based on SBAS-PS-DS-InSAR

open access: yesSensors
As urban economies flourish and populations become increasingly concentrated, urban surface deformation has emerged as a critical factor in city planning that cannot be overlooked. Surface deformation in urban areas can lead to deformations in structural

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

POS Assisted Aerial Triangulation Method for Single Flight Strip Without Ground Control Points

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
In scenarios such as road detection and emergency mapping, single strip photogrammetry without ground control points (GCPs) can effectively improve data acquisition efficiency.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...
