ABSTRACT Background and Objective Non‐specific low back pain (LBP) frequently becomes persistent or recurrent. This systematic review and meta‐analysis determined whether physical, psychophysical or psychological variables can predict persistent or recurrent non‐specific LBP. Database and Data Treatment Studies investigating physical, psychophysical or

Abstract Background Central venous access devices (CVADs) are frequently used in Hospital‐At‐Home models to facilitate prolonged intravenous treatment for children. Premature CVAD dressing disruption is common and contributes to device failure. This protocol describes a trial evaluating the adjunctive use of medical liquid adhesive at the dressing–skin

ABSTRACT Background Epidural analgesia is commonly used for pain control after major lower‐limb orthopedic surgery in children, but it is associated with a risk of postoperative urinary retention. Consequently, urinary catheters are often placed and left in situ for the full duration of epidural analgesia, despite the potential risks of prolonged ...

EVAPoRATe is a pilot feasibility multi‐centre randomised trial in patients with pneumothorax and persistent air leak. The trial compares early referral for endobronchial valve placement with standard care to determine feasibility and inform the design and power calculation of a future full‐scale RCT. ABSTRACT Background Pneumothorax with persistent air

Abstract The land absorbs a large proportion of human‐induced carbon emissions, yet the spatial distribution of this carbon sink remains uncertain. Land surface models (LSMs) and atmospheric inversions often diverge on the spatial distribution of carbon sink, with models generally underestimating the northern land sink (above 30°N).
