Geometric accuracy improvement of VHR satellite imagery during orthorectification with the use of ground control points [PDF]
Thesis (PhD)--University of Pretoria, 2016.Conducting single frame orthorectification on satellite images to create an ortho-image requires four basic components, namely an image, a geometric sensor model, elevation data (for example a digital elevation ...

High‐Gloss SVBRDF Capture Using Bounce Light
Abstract Reflectance capture aims at the visual reproduction of an object under varying illumination. Past works differ substantially in their experimental overhead, from single‐ or few‐image approaches, that employ significant (often learned) priors at the expense of biased reconstructions, to more accurate approaches that tend to be time‐consuming ...

Summary Background and objectives Primary axillary hyperhidrosis (PAHH) results from dysregulation of the autonomic nervous system and typically begins during puberty. Treatment options for adolescents remain limited. This open‐label phase II study evaluated the safety, local tolerability, systemic exposure, and efficacy of 1% GPB cream over 8 weeks in

New insights from data analysis of 12 global clinical studies on hair shedding
Analysis of 12 clinical studies conducted across eight countries indicated that the majority of the hair loss (shedding) originates from the root and occurs throughout the hair care procedures (washing, drying and combing). In females, the ‘older’ group experienced more hair fall than the ‘younger’ group.
