We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Growth Reactions of Ground Cover Plants under Various Sunlights Condition
生育実験によって公共緑化用として使用頻度の高い20種類の地被の陽光地 (相対照度100%) から強陰地 (0.1%) に至る5段階の日照条件における生育反応, 耐性度合が明らかになった。また, いかなる地被植物でも相対照度が0.1%程度の日照条件になると健全生育は全く困難となる。従来から半日陰を好むあるいは日陰に耐えるとされてきた大半の地被植物の生育の最適域は概ね相対照度10~50%の日照条件下であることなどが判明した。
