Motion-Grounded Video Reasoning: Understanding and Perceiving Motion at Pixel Level [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce Motion-Grounded Video Reasoning, a new motion understanding task that requires generating visual answers (video segmentation masks) according to the input question, and hence needs implicit spatiotemporal reasoning and grounding.

Closing the gap in plan quality: Leveraging deep‐learning dose prediction for adaptive radiotherapy
Abstract Purpose Balancing quality and efficiency has been a challenge for online adaptive therapy. Most systems start the online re‐optimization with the original planning goals. While some systems allow planners to modify the planning goals, achieving a high‐quality plan within time constraints remains a common barrier.

Dynamic response and damage character of road embankment under strong earthquake
Dynamic response of road embankment under strong earthquake was explored by site investigation, shaking table tests, and discrete element method simulations, which shows that the distribution of responded accelerations strongly depends on the amplitude ...

Investigation of the frequency content of ground motions recorded during strong Vrancea earthquakes, based on deterministic and stochastic indices [PDF]
The paper presents results from a recent study in progress, involving an extensive analysis, based on several deterministic and stochastic indices, of the frequency content of ground motions recorded during strong Vrancea seismic events. The study, continuing those initiated by Lungu et al.

A numerical scheme is presented to design a lattice support for metallic components additively built via laser powder bed fusion. Results show that thermal‐induced distortion can be respectively reduced by 69%, 58%, and 50% in comparison to a uniform lattice, a fully solid support, and a truss‐based lattice support.

Dose rate correction of a diode array for universal wedge field dosimetric verification
Abstract Purpose To study the performance of MapCHECK 3 (MC3) in measuring universal wedge fields and propose a dose rate correction strategy to improve MC3 measurement accuracy. Materials and methods Universal wedge fields with different wedge angles and field sizes were measured at different depths using MC3.
