Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

On the Submerged Forest of Uozu and the Subsidence of the Ground

open access: yesJournal of Geography (Chigaku Zasshi), 1955
The retrocession of the strand line in Hokuriku district has been well known to the people living there, while the discovery of submerged forest at Uozu has proved the subsidence of the ground. The excavation of the submerged forest has attracted the attention of not only scholars but many people, and the Ministry of Education has designated it as ...

Laser‐Assisted Phase Engineering of 2D MoS2 for Efficient Solution‐Processed Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Here, local laser‐assisted phase transition from solution‐processed phase‐pure 1T′ to 2H MoS2 is shown to critically depend on the irradiation atmosphere. While processing in air leads to damaged insulating regions, inert conditions yield semiconducting 2H domains, enabling direct field‐effect transistor patterning with optimized lateral 1T′‐2H MoS2 ...

Levelling data management for the monitoring of land subsidence

open access: yes, 1991
The main source of geodetic measurements for the detection of ground vertical movements is usually levelling. A considerable amount of data from different sources must be often elaborated in order to have informations on subsidence.

Ferroelectric Dynamic‐Field‐Driven Nucleation and Growth Model for Predictive Materials‐To‐Circuit Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a compact dynamic‐field‐driven nucleation and growth (DFNG) model that captures ferroelectric switching behavior under arbitrary voltage waveforms. It enables extraction of time‐dependent domain wall velocity and growth dimensionality, which can then be extended to device‐level modeling.

Monitoring and modeling peat soil subsidence in the Venice Lagoon

open access: yes, 2005
The Venice Lagoon is characterized by a fast morphodynamics appreciable not only over the geological scale but also in historical and modern times. The lagoon environment proves very sensitive to even minor modifications of the natural and anthropogenic ...

Developing a Functional Polyelectrolyte Hybrid Layer Scaffold Coating and Evaluation of Its Performance for Interaction With Neural Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Polyelectrolyte scaffold coatings modified with Cu and Fe3O4 nanoparticles regulate neural stem cell behavior in vitro. Increased Fe3O4 content enhances mitochondrial activity and neuronal differentiation, whereas higher Cu levels reduce cell viability.
