Robust β‐myrcene block copolymer elastomeric vitrimers

open access: yesPolymer International, EarlyView.
Myrcene‐based vitrimeric elastomers were compared: statistical (poly(styrene‐stat‐myrcene‐stat‐AAEMA)] versus ‘hard–soft’ diblock (poly(styrene)‐block‐poly(myrcene‐co‐AAEMA)). The diblock's ability to anchor the glassy poly(styrene) blocks in a self‐assembled microstructure was effective – leading to four times higher tensile stress and ten times ...

Conjugated Polymers Engineered for Flexible/Stretchable Electronics

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
This review highlights glass transition temperature (Tg) as the central parameter linking molecular structure to device performance in conjugated polymers. By tuning backbone rigidity, side‐chain architecture, and dynamic bonding, Tg governs the balance between π–π stacking–enabled charge transport and mechanical compliance.

Converting agro-waste into innovative tires: Ground sugarcane bagasse for environmentally friendly rubber reinforcement

open access: yeseXPRESS Polymer Letters
Ground sugarcane bagasse (GSB), an agro-waste rich in lignocellulosic components, was studied as a sustainable bio-filler in natural rubber (NR) tread compounds to lessen reliance on petroleum-derived carbon black (CB).
