3D Projection Sideband Cooling
We demonstrate 3D microwave projection sideband cooling of trapped, neutral atoms. The technique employs state-dependent potentials that enable microwave photons to drive vibration-number reducing transitions.

Dissociation dynamics of transient anion formed via electron attachment to sulfur dioxide [PDF]
We report the molecular dynamics of dissociative electron attachment to sulfur dioxide (SO2) by measuring the momentum distribution of fragment anions using the velocity slice imaging technique in the electron energy range of 2–10 eV.

Design and implementation of robust decentralized control laws for the ACES structure at Marshall Space Flight Center [PDF]
Many large space system concepts will require active vibration control to satisfy critical performance requirements such as line-of-sight accuracy. In order for these concepts to become operational it is imperative that the benefits of active vibration ...

Comparative analysis of methods for predicting train-induced vibrations
Railway systems cause more severe vibration pollution than road systems, and the vibration pollution caused by railway systems has been increasing annually over the past two decades. Despite this, there is limited investigation into the accuracy of train-
