A framework for evidence-based risk modeling of ship grounding
Most of the risk models for ship-grounding accidents do not fully utilize available evidence, since in general they are merely based on accident statistics and expert opinions.

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

Optimal neutral ground resistor rating of themedium voltage systems in power generatingstations
Neutral grounding resistors (NGRs) are used to protect insulation breakdown in faulty electrical equipment. These faults are caused by transient over-voltages produced by arcing ground on ungrounded systems.

The Grounding Impedance Calculation of Large Steel Grounding Grid
Steel is widely used as grounding material in China. The resistivity and permeability of steel are higher than those of copper. If a grounding grid is very large, it is a problem for steel grounding grid to have great potential difference within the ...
