THE EXPERIMENTAL VALIDATION OF THE GROUNDING DEVICE RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT METHOD

open access: yesElectrical engineering & Electromechanics, 2016
Purpose. The paper considers experimental research of three-electrode units for measuring the resistance of grounding devices for different purposes. Methodology. The experimental study of the method of resistance measurement of grounding devices for any

Grounding and Aristotle’s Posterior Analytics [PDF]

open access: yes
Fabrice Correia and Benjamin Schnieder suggest that Aristotle’s account of formal causation in the Posterior Analytics is a type of grounding. While there are many similarities, I will argue that what Aristotle had in mind differs from contemporary ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Tower impulse grounding resistance measurement based on multiple frequency impedance

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, 2023
Tower impulse grounding resistance is important for judging the lightning protection performance of transmission lines. Therefore, it is significant to accurately measure the tower impulse grounding resistance. Existing measurement methods mainly contain

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

A TLM‐Based Surge Analysis of Grounding Electrodes

open access: yesElectrical Engineering in Japan, 2012
SUMMARYIn this paper, representations of a perfectly conducting thin wire and an imperfectly conducting medium in the transmission line modeling (TLM) calculation are briefly explained. Then, the method is applied to analyzing surge responses of a vertical parallelepiped grounding electrode and a square‐loop grounding electrode.

Integration of Low‐Voltage Nanoscale MoS2 Memristors on CMOS Microchips

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents the first monolithic integration of nanoscale MoS2‐based memristors into the back‐end‐of‐line of foundry‐fabricated CMOS microchips in a one‐transistor‐one‐resistor (1T1R) architecture. The MoS2‐based 1T1R cells exhibit forming‐free, nonvolatile resistive switching with ultra‐low operating voltages, low cycle‐to‐cycle variability ...

Grounding-zone wedges on the northern Larsen shelf, Antarctic Peninsula [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Prominent quasi-linear or lobate wedge-shaped depositional sedimentary landforms, termed grounding-zone wedges (GZWs), are distributed widely on polar continental shelves.
