Tower impulse grounding resistance measurement based on multiple frequency impedance
Tower impulse grounding resistance is important for judging the lightning protection performance of transmission lines. Therefore, it is significant to accurately measure the tower impulse grounding resistance. Existing measurement methods mainly contain

Contact impedance of grounded and capacitive electrodes [PDF]
The contact impedance of electrodes determines how much current can be injected into the ground for a given voltage. If the ground is very resistive, capacitive coupling may be superior to galvanic coupling. The standard equations for the impedance of capacitive electrodes assume that the halfspace is an ideal conductor.

An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

The response of grounding electrodes to lightning currents [PDF]
Lightning is a frequent cause of failures and damages in power systems. In most situations, the severity of lightning effects is influenced by the response of the system grounding electrodes to lightning currents that is typically quite different from ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Transient Response of Grounding Systems [PDF]
This chapter describes a model used to simulate lightning current. Comparison of different approaches used for lighting simulation has been mentioned. Transmission line approach has been chosen to simulate the grounding system behavior under lightning ...

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Seasonal Influences on the Impulse Characteristics of Grounding Systems for Tropical Countries
One of the most important parameters of the performance of grounding systems is the soil resistivity. As generally known, the soil resistivity changes seasonally, hence the performance of grounding systems, at DC and under high impulse conditions.

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.
