Ground-3D: A FEM CAD/CAE System for Ground Systems Analysis
Digest of the Fifth Biennial IEEE Conference on Electromagnetic Field Computation, 2005A complete modelling of a grounding system made by ground meshes, connected or not in multilayer soil is presented. A 3D approach is used to model rods or wire conductors, grave layers and conductor plates that are commonly found in grounding systems.

IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1981
A general methodology for the analysis of electrical grounding systems is presented. Earth is represented as a two layer semiinfinite region. An equivalent circuit model of the earth embedded electrodes and conductive soil is developed via numerical lution of Laplace equations.

Corrosion and Grounding Systems
IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1977Corrosion that occurs in the presence of dissimilar metals in the same electrolyte, or same metal in different electrolytes, or in different concentrations of the same electrolyte, has caused numerous problems in operating electric systems. This corrosion is the result of a potential difference existing between two surfaces which forces an electric ...
