In this study, ecological niche models are provided for Trachemys scripta and its competing species in Turkey. In 20‐year intervals, the map indicates the future habitat areas suitable for the invasive species as well as its competitors. The results of this study have led to a determination of the regions where invasive species are likely to be ...

ABSTRACT How the organisational dimension of public policy influences climate change anticipation is a critical, yet underexplored, question. This is especially so at the local scale where many climate‐related interests are brokered. In this article, we argue that any analysis of the influence of de‐centralised organisations on climate change ...

Sub‐annual spatiotemporal dynamics of sediment and organic matter storage in beaver ponds
Ponds higher up the beaver cascades showed increasing erosion of sediments following heavier rainfall events, whereas those further down showed increasing sediment accretion. Following periods with less intense rainfall all ponds showed net sediment accretion.

Site Selection of Onshore Wind and Solar Farms With Hydrogen Energy Storage: A Review
ABSTRACT Onshore wind farms (OWF) and onshore solar farms (OSF) are essential to the global transition to renewable energy. Their complementary generation patterns enhance power supply stability and improve grid reliability. Co‐located projects can optimize land use and share infrastructure, reducing costs while increasing efficiency.

ABSTRACT Natural soils often exhibit clearly anisotropic mechanical properties, yet this characteristic is frequently overlooked in numerical models due to the practical challenges of determining anisotropic parameters. As a result, the influence of anisotropy remains difficult to anticipate, and engineers have limited tools to incorporate it into ...
