Dispersion in groundwater flow systems
A fundamental flow equation for a mixture of miscible fluids was derived by combining the law of conservation of mass, Darcy's law, and an equation of state describing the pressure-volume-temperature- concentration relationship. The result is an equation involving two dependent variables, pressure and concentration.

Impacts of groundwater extraction on groundwater flow and arsenic distribution in the western Hetao Basin, Inner Mongolia, China [PDF]
Temporal variations in water levels are crucial for understanding As behaviour in groundwater systems. Groundwater levels were recorded in irrigation wells in non-irrigation and irrigation seasons.

Groundwater flow system in Aso caldera
The groundwater flow system in Aso caldera is divided into four areas ( ( I ) somma of Aso volcano, ( II ) central cones side of the Aso volcano, ( III ) caldera low land unconfined groundwater and ( IV ) caldera low land artesian system) based on hydrogeochemical characteristics such as stable isotope values ( δ D and δ18O) and water chemistry ...

Analytical Study of Unsteady Nested Groundwater Flow Systems [PDF]
Two analytical solutions using segregation variable method to calculate the hydraulic head under steady and unsteady flow conditions based on Tóth’s classical model were developed. The impacts of anisotropy ratio, hydraulic conductivity (K), and specific yield (μs) on the flow patterns were analyzed.
