Dual‐Network Restriction in Dense EDTA‐Metal Coordination Polymers for Highly Efficient and Stable Organic RTP in Aqueous System

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2026.
Dense composites with excellent water stability and phosphorescence performance are constructed using EDTA‐metal coordination polymers as the host matrix. Based on the synergistic confinement effect of the coordination and non‐covalent dual‐network within the composites, a phosphorescence quantum yield as high as 53% is achieved, enabling their ...

Synthesis of Substituted Cyclic Amines From Protected Amino Acids Using Oxidative Decarboxylation and Alkylation

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 15, Issue 2, February 2026.
Simple access to alkylated 3D scaffold via oxidative radical decarboxylation, trapping of iminium, and successive reaction with organometallic reagent in the presence of BF3 . ABSTRACT Cyclic amines are vital scaffolds in bioactive molecules and drug discovery, often functionalized via electrochemical Shono‐type oxidation to access N‐acyliminium ...

Operando Spectroscopy and Kinetic Modelling Reveal Dynamic Catalyst Species During Auto‐Oxidation of a Palladium Phosphine System

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 3, 12 February 2026.
ABSTRACT Ligand oxidation is a reoccurring catalyst deactivation mechanism in catalytic systems containing phosphine ligands. Here we report the use of operando FTIR spectroscopy for the investigation of the aerobic oxidation of the common Pd‐triphenylphosphine catalytic system using [Pd(OAc)2] and [Pd(PPh3)4] as precursors.

From Ink to Mockup: An Integrated Study of Historical Gall Ink Formulations and Their Impact on Paper

open access: yesChemPlusChem, Volume 91, Issue 2, February 2026.
Iron gall inks percipitates (right), and mockups upon artificial ageing (left) Iron gall inks (IGIs) played a central role as a writing medium in Western countries, leaving behind a vast legacy and significant conservation challenges. This study presents a twofold methodological approach to investigate the physicochemical behaviour of IGI‐based ...

Polymer‐Assisted Direct and Rapid Microwave Synthesis of Mesoporous Binary and Ternary Metal Oxides for Electrocatalytic Water Oxidation

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 8, 6 February 2026.
A novel direct and facile microwave synthesis route to prepare mesoporous binary and ternary metal oxides with P‐123® as porogen is presented. NiFe2O4 is applied in alkaline Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER) and shows improved performance in comparison to nanoparticular and Evaporation Induced Self‐Assembly (EISA)‐derived mesoporous NiFe2O4.
