Pentacyanopropenide group as ligand in organometallic chemistry. Crystal structure and electrochemical studies of (Et4N)[W(CO)5{(C(CN)2C(CN)C(CN)2}]

Polyhedron, 1999
Abstract The title complex has been obtained by reaction of the tetraethylammonium pentacyanopropenide with tungsten hexacarbonyl in acetone. Its crystal structure involves discrete [W(CO)5{C3(CN)5}]− anions in which the organic fragment is N-coordinated via one of the nitrogen atoms of a cyano group borne by one of the terminal carbon atoms of the ...

Chemischer Informationsdienst, 1981

Coordination chemistry of organometallic bases of group IV elements. Part IV: 2:1 adducts of antimony(V) chloride and μ-oxo-bis[triorganotin(IV)] compounds.

Inorganica Chimica Acta, 1984
Abstract Two mol of antimony(V) chloride and one mol of μ-oxo-bis[tri-n-propyl/tri-n-butyl or triphenyl tin(IV)] compound (L) react in carbon tetrachloride and/or dichloromethane at ice water temperature to give solid compounds of composition L·2SbCl5.

Group 1B organometallic chemistry. 18. Novel routes to stable hexanuclear copper-silver, silver-gold, and copper-gold cluster compounds starting from polymeric 2-(dimethylamino)phenylcopper and from bis[(2-dimethylamino)phenyl]goldlithium dimer

Inorganic Chemistry, 1977
Mixed hexanuclear copper-silver, silver-gold, and copper-gold complexes of the type R4M4M′2X2 have been prepared via the reaction of 2-(dimethylamino)phenylcopper (RCu) with CuOTf or AgOTf (OTf = trifluoromethanesulfonato) as well as via the reaction of cuprous halide, of CuOTf, or of AgOTf with the novel bis[2-(dimethylamino)phenyl]goldlithium dimer ...

Organometallic nitrosyl chemistry. 41. Regiospecific condensation of methyl propiolate with 2,3-dimethyl-2-butene mediated by the electrophilic .eta.5-cyclopentadienyl dinitrosyl tetrafluoroborate salts of the Group 6 metals

Organometallics, 1990
Chloride abstraction from Cp'M(NO) 2 Cl (Cp'=Cp(η 5 -C 5 H 5 ), Cp * (η 5 -C 5 Me 5 ); M=Cr, Mo, W) with an equimolar amount of AgBF 4 in CH 2 Cl 2 generates reactive solutions of Cp'M(NO) 2 BF 4 . During their reactions with various nucleophiles, the Cp'M(NO) 2 BF 4 compounds behave as though they are the formally 16-electron cations Cp'M(NO) 2 + .

Chemischer Informationsdienst, 1977
