Group Coding With Complex Isometries [PDF]
We investigate group coding for arbitrary finite groups acting linearly on a vector space. These yield robust codes based on real or complex matrix groups. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for correct subgroup decoding using geometric notions of minimal length coset representatives.

(n, n(n‐1), n‐1) Permutation group codes
Two different subgroups Cn and Ln of symmetric group Sn are first designed and then to construct a family of permutation group codes Pn with code length n, minimum Hamming distance n − 1, cardinalityn(n − 1) and error‐correcting capability n − 2 is ...

Logical Clifford Synthesis for Stabilizer Codes
Quantum error-correcting codes are used to protect qubits involved in quantum computation. This process requires logical operators to be translated into physical operators acting on physical quantum states.

In this note we introduce the concept of group convolutional code. We make a complete classification of the minimal $S_3$-convolutional codes over the field of five elements by means of Jategaonkar's theorems.

The automorphisms and error orbits of Reed – Solomon codes
The purpose of this work with its results presented in the article was to develop and transfer to the class of Reed – Solomon codes (RS-codes) the basic provisions of the theory of syndrome norms (TNS), previously developed for the noise-resistant coding

Media codes of ethics for health professionals and media professionals: a qualitative study
Media is an opportunity for health professionals; however, it is not free of threats. Fixing the threats requires professional systematization through developing practical guidelines, which brings us to the goal this study was designed to achieve ...

Transforming Group Codes in Mealy Finite State Machines with Composite State Codes
A new state assignment method focusing on Mealy finite state machines (FSMs) is proposed. The proposed codes are an alternative to composite state codes (CSCs). CSCs are represented as concatenations of group codes and partial state codes. Both group and

Block-coded PSK modulation using two-level group codes over dihedral groups [PDF]
Summary: A length \(n\) group code over a group \(G\) is a subgroup of \(G^n\) under component-wise group operation. Group codes over dihedral groups \(D_M\), with \(2M\) elements, that are two-level constructible using a binary code and a code over \(Z_M\), residue class integer ring modulo \(M\), as component codes are studied for arbitrary \(M\).

Cyclic Orbit Codes with the Normalizer of a Singer Subgroup [PDF]
An algebraic construction for constant dimension subspace codes is called orbit code. It arises as the orbits under the action of a subgroup of the general linear group on subspaces in an ambient space.

Construction of Polygonal Color Codes from Hyperbolic Tesselations
This current work propose a technique to generate polygonal color codes in the hyperbolic geometry environment. The color codes were introduced by Bombin and Martin-Delgado in 2007, and the called triangular color codes have a higher degree of interest ...
