On topological groups of automorphisms
We study spaces X for which the space Homp(X) of automorphisms with the topology of point-wise convergence is a topological group. We identify large classes of spaces X for which Homp(X) is or is not a topological group.

Bounding the order of automorphisms of certain curves
We study upper bounds on the order of automorphisms of non-singular curves $X$ satisfying at least one of the following hypothesis: 1) $X$ is an $m$-sheeted covering of exactly one non-singular curve of genus $\gamma$, where $m$ is prime; 2) the center ...

Automorphism Groups of Free Soluble Groups
Let \(F\) be a free soluble group of derived length \(k\) and rank \(m\) and \(\Phi\) any group of automorphisms of \(F\). The author's Theorem A is that \(\Phi\) contains either a free subgroup of rank 2 or a soluble normal subgroup of finite index and derived length bounded by functions of \(k\) and \(m\) only.

A FAMILY OF ARC-TRANSITIVE GRAPHS OF GIRTH AT LEAST 5 ADMITTING A SUZUKI SIMPLE GROUP
We give a construction of a new family of Deza graphs of girth at least 5 that possess an arc-transitive group of automorphisms isomorphic to a Suzuki simple group \(Sz(q)\).

Automorphisms of Regular Wreath Product 𝑝-Groups
We present a useful new characterization of the automorphisms of the regular wreath product group 𝑃 of a finite cyclic 𝑝-group by a finite cyclic 𝑝-group, for any prime 𝑝, and we discuss an application.

Automorphisms of transition systems
A automorphism of transitions system is an isomorphism of a system oneself. In the article are showed, that every finite group may be embedded in a group of automorphisms of a certain transition system.

Extended Symmetry of Higher Painlevé Equations of Even Periodicity and Their Rational Solutions
The structure of the extended affine Weyl symmetry group of higher Painlevé equations of N periodicity depends on whether N is even or odd. We find that for even N, the symmetry group A^N−1(1) contains the conventional Bäcklund transformations sj,j=1,…,N,

Let p be a prime. It is shown that an automorphism α of an abelian p-group A lifts to any abelian p-group of which A is a homomorphic image if and only if α=π idA, with π an invertible p-adic integer.

Generation by Conjugate Elements of Finite Almost Simple Groups With a Sporadic Socle
We study the minimum number of elements in the conjugacy class of an automorphism of a sporadic simple group that generate a subgroup containing all inner automorphisms.
