Affinity for a Malignant Tumor and Organs of the Elements in Group V of the Periodic Table
In order to investigate the tumor affinity radioisotopes, chromium (51Cr), molybdenum (99Mo), tungsten (181W), selenium (75Se) and tellurium (127mTe)--the elements of group VI in the periodic table--were examined, using the rats which were subcutaneously transplanted with Yoshida sarcoma.

Model Equation Based on the 8 Groups and the 7 Periods in the Periodic Table of Elements
The periodic table of chemistry contains all synthetic and naturally occurring elements. The elements are arranged in seven horizontal periods from left to right with increasing atomic number. The periodic table is divided into two groups: metals and nonmetals, within elements moving from left to right, the elements get less metallic, culminating in ...

ON THE FORMATION AND STABILITY OF BICARBONATES OF THE METALS OF THE GROUP II OF THE MENDELEEF'S PERIODIC TABLE [PDF]
The acid carbonates of Be, Mg, Zn, Cd and Hg have been isolated for the first time in the solid state, and have also been stabilized. The stability of the bicarbonate of Zn, Cd and Hg (II B group) decreases with decreasing electro-positive character of these metals.

The Periodic Table and Kinetics?
Mendeleev in his first publication ordered the chemical elements following an apparent periodicity of properties such as atomic volume and valence. The reactivity of the elements was only studied systematically many years later.

On the membership of group 3 of the periodic table: A new approach
In April 2015, an international team of researchers announced the measurement, for the first time, of the first ionization energy of lawrencium, a superheavy element of atomic number 103. The experimental result, published in the prestigious scientific journal Nature, led to the reopening of a long-standing debate that concerns the elements that should

A Simplified Method for Estimating Atomic Number and Neutrons Numbers of Elements Based on Period and Group Numbers in the Periodic Table [PDF]
This research has proposed formulas, in which the atomic number and neutron numbers to any element in the periodic table are determined according to element position in the periodic table. These formulas have been arranged to fit with periodic system of elements in the IUPAC's Periodic Table.

A Group-Theoretical Approach to the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements: Old and New Developments
This paper is a companion article to the review paper by the present author devoted to the classification of matter constituents (chemical elements and particles) and published in the first part of the proceedings of The Second Harry Wiener International Memorial Conference (see quant-ph/0310155).
