On Properties of Graded Rings with respect to Group Homomorphisms

The goal of our article is reconsidering some well-known concepts on graded rings using a group homomorphism α:G⟶G. Next is to examine the new concepts compared to the known concepts.

Periodic rings with finitely generated underlying group
International Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2004 We study periodic rings that are finitely generated as groups. We prove several structure results. We classify periodic rings that are free of rank at most 2, and also periodic rings R such that R is finitely generated as a group and R/t(R)≃ℤ.

The set \(M_0(G)\) of all \(0\)-preserving functions from \(G\) to itself forms a near-ring under pointwise addition and composition of functions. If \(R\subseteq M_0(G)\) is a ring under these operations, then \(R\) is said to be a `subring' of \(M_0(G)\).

Finite Dimensional Group Rings [PDF]
Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1973 A ring is right finite dimensional if it contains no infinite direct sum of right ideals. We prove that if a group G is finite, free abelian, or finitely generated abelian, then a ring R is right finite dimensional if and only if the group ring RG is right finite dimensional.
