On the Group Structure in Homotopy Groups [PDF]

open access: yesNagoya Mathematical Journal, 1954
Usually the group structure in a homotopy group is defined directly and explicitly. But the algebraic approach to the topology, now common, seems to raise the following question : is that the only group sturcture which is natural from the algebraic topological point of view?

Prolonged Corrected QT Interval as an Early Electrocardiographic Marker of Cyclophosphamide‐Induced Cardiotoxicity in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Patients

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Cyclophosphamide (CY) is associated with potentially fatal cardiotoxicity, yet no electrocardiographic indices have been established for early detection of CY‐induced cardiomyopathy. This study aimed to determine whether corrected QT interval (QTc) prolongation can predict early onset of CY‐related cardiac dysfunction in pediatric ...

The structure of Selmer groups [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 1997
The purpose of this article is to describe certain results and conjectures concerning the structure of Galois cohomology groups and Selmer groups, especially for abelian varieties. These results are analogues of a classical theorem of Iwasawa. We formulate a very general version of the Weak Leopoldt Conjecture.

Prognostic Impact of Treatment Modalities, Including Targeted Compartmental Radio‐Immunotherapy, in a Cohort of Neuroblastoma Patients With CNS Metastases at Relapse

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Neuroblastoma (NB) with central nervous system (CNS) metastases is rare at diagnosis, but occurs more often during relapse/progression. Patients with CNS metastases face a dismal prognosis, with no standardized curative treatment available.

Recombinant expression and subcellular targeting of the particulate methane monooxygenase (pMMO) protein components in plants

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
Methane is a potent greenhouse gas, which has contributed to approximately a fifth of global warming since pre-industrial times. The agricultural sector produces significant methane emissions, especially from livestock, waste management and rice ...

Multi-scale grading utilization based on the characteristics of recycled concrete aggregates: a review

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials, 2023
The physical and mechanical properties of recycled aggregates (RA) among different particle sizes are compared. Results demonstrate that adhesive mortar content is a significant factor in determining the properties of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC ...

Psychological Safety Among Interprofessional Pediatric Oncology Teams in Germany: A Nationwide Survey

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Psychological safety (PS) is essential for teamwork, communication, and patient safety in complex healthcare environments. In pediatric oncology, interprofessional collaboration occurs under high emotional and organizational demands. Low PS may increase stress, burnout, and adverse events.
