Spatial Differentiation in Industrial Dynamics. The Case of the Netherlands (1994–2005)
We compare the industrial dynamics in the core, semi-periphery and periphery in the Netherlands in terms of firm entry-exit, size, growth and location patterns.

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Labor Market Dynamics and Growth [PDF]
Abstract This paper seeks to understand the implications of incorporating economic growth into a search-theoretic model of the labor market. To this end, a technological diffusion process is embedded into the canonical search and matching model of the labor market. New matches imitate the production process of incumbents. Although the

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

External Debt and Growth Dynamics
Based on an extended growth model, this thesis further explores the joint dynamics between external debt and growth. The model explicitly expresses this growth dynamic mechanism incorporating external debt as an important explanatory variable with risk ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

What happens when the technology growth trend changes?: transition dynamics, capital growth and the "new economy" [PDF]
The rapid increase in U.S. economic growth during the late 1990s inspired speculation that an acceleration in the rate of technological progress had given rise to an increase in potential output growth.

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified

Growth Traits of Mixed-Age Provenance Trial Plantations of Pinus sibirica Du Tour
Siberian pine (Pinus sibirica Du Tour) is the most important forest-forming species in the Siberian taiga. The research aimed at studying the age-related changes in the growth rates of Siberian pine trees (37- and 61-year-old) depending on their ...
