Brassinosteroid‐Promoted Growth

Plant Biology, 2005
Abstract: Brassinosteroids (BRs) are highly potent growth‐promoting sterol derivatives. BR‐deficient or BR‐insensitive mutants display dwarfism. Whole plants and excised tissues have been used to analyse the mechanisms involved in BR‐promoted growth.

Plant-Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria

Annual Review of Microbiology, 2009
Several microbes promote plant growth, and many microbial products that stimulate plant growth have been marketed. In this review we restrict ourselves to bacteria that are derived from and exert this effect on the root. Such bacteria are generally designated as PGPR (plant-growth-promoting rhizobacteria).
