Polynomial Growth Harmonic Functions on Finitely Generated Abelian Groups

open access: yes, 2013
In the present paper, we develop geometric analytic techniques on Cayley graphs of finitely generated abelian groups to study the polynomial growth harmonic functions.

Unique Performance Considerations for Printable Organic Semiconductor and Perovskite Radiation Detectors: Toward Consensus on Best Practice Evaluation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A lack of standard approaches for testing and reporting the performance of metal halide perovskites and organic semiconductor radiation detectors has resulted in inconsistent interpretation of performance parameters, impeding progress in the field. This Perspective recommends key metrics and experimental details, which are suggested for reporting in ...

A zero-one Law for improvements to Dirichlet's Theorem [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We give an integrability condition on a function $\psi$ guaranteeing that for almost all (or almost no) $x\in\mathbb{R}$, the system $|qx-p|\leq \psi(t)$, $|q|

Gate‐Tunable Hole Transport in In‐Plane Ge Nanowires by V‐Groove Confined Selective Epitaxy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ge nanowires are promising for hole spin‐based quantum processors, requiring direct integration onto Si wafers. This work introduces V‐groove‐confined selective epitaxy for in‐plane nanowire growth on Si. Structural and low‐temperature transport measurements confirm their high crystalline quality, gate‐tunable hole densities, and mobility.

General Mean-Field BDSDEs with Stochastic Linear Growth and Discontinuous Generator

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, we consider the general mean-field backward doubly stochastic differential equations (mean-field BDSDEs) whose generator f can be discontinuous in y. We prove the existence theorem of solutions under stochastic linear growth conditions and

Nonharmonic Gabor Expansions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sciences, Islamic Republic of Iran, 2014
We consider Gabor systems generated by a Gaussian function and prove certain classical results of Paley and Wiener on nonharmonic Fourier series of complex exponentials for the Gabor expansion‎.

High‐Entropy Magnetism of Murunskite

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The study of murunskite (K2FeCu3S4) reveals that its magnetic and orbital order emerges in a simple I4/mmm crystal structure with complete disorder in the transition metal positions. Mixed‐valence Fe ions randomly occupy 1/4 of the tetrahedral sites, with the remaining 3/4 being filled by non‐magnetic Cu+ ions.

Quantum Emitters in Hexagonal Boron Nitride: Principles, Engineering and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Quantum emitters in hexagonal boron nitride have emerged as a promising candidate for quantum information science. This review examines the fundamentals of these quantum emitters, including their level structures, defect engineering, and their possible chemical structures.
