九、鹤形目本目主要特征是后趾不发达或完全退化,存在时位置亦较其他趾梢高。眼先常被羽。翼大都短圆,第1枚初级飞羽较第2枚短。趾间无蹼,有时具瓣蹼。全世界有190种,我国有32种。灰鹤(Grus grus)属鹤科(Gruidae),英名为 Common Crane。它们又叫鹚(?)、呼呤子、番薯鹤等。体长约1,370毫米。本种主要特征是:头顶裸出,头侧与颈侧均被羽,体羽大都灰色,尾和喉也灰。

Long‐term data reveals increase in vehicle collisions of endangered birds in Hokkaido, Japan

Data obtained from the Ministry of the Environment, Japan, showed that vehicle collisions of endangered birds on Hokkaido had significantly increased between 1991 and 2021. Possible factors include increased population sizes, an increase in the probability of accidents, and an increase in the probability of accidents being reported.
