Wnt3a Downregulation Contributes to Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus by Impairing Pancreatic β‐Cell Function
The FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 16, 31 August 2026.Wnt3a downregulation is associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in clinical patients and high‐fat diet (HFD)‐induced mouse models. In MIN6 pancreatic β‐cells, knockdown of Wnt3a impairs insulin secretion and β‐cell function under insulin‐resistant conditions, while recombinant Wnt3a treatment rescues these defects.

Impact of Hysteresis on Calendar Aging Mechanisms on Three‐Electrode Cells With Silicon‐Rich Anodes
Batteries &Supercaps, Volume 9, Issue 8, August 2026.Strong voltage hysteresis in Si‐rich anodes complicates calendar‐aging analysis, making the assignment of OCV time‐series data to the GITT‐derived OCV curve unreliable and requiring indirect estimation of anode aging. Calendar aging is dominated by irreversible lithium loss caused by continuous SEI growth on the anode.
