A study on some biological parameters of the population of Chondrostoma angorense Elvira, 1987 (Actinopterygii: Cypriniformes: Leuciscidae) in the Devrez River, Türkiye

open access: yesOceanological and Hydrobiological Studies
Understanding the biological characteristics of fishes is essential for conserving native, particularly endemic species and providing accurate recommendations for fisheries management.

Genotype by environment interaction in mustard (Brassica juncea) under Terai Agro-Climatic zone using the AMMI model and GGE biplot

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding
In the present experiment, 71 Indian mustard (Brassica juncea) genotypes were evaluated in six environments for two successive years (three environments in each year) to identify the influence of environment over the genotypes and to identify the stable,

Optimization of a neutron dosimeter for the high energy accelerators

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
In high energy accelerator facilities the neutron radiation should be continuously measured during operation to control the ambient dose. This requires a reliable neutron dosimeter in a wide energy range.

Natural and enriched tungsten as target for heavy ion experiments [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
Tungsten is applied as target material for experiments in the field of nuclear spectroscopy. Typically, targets of a thickness range of 100 µg/cm² up to 1000 µg/cm² that can safely stand the irradiation by the intense heavy-ion beam over a substantially ...

Time-resolved study of holeboring in realistic experimental conditions

open access: yesNature Communications, 2021
Experimental measurements involving multiple laser and plasma parameters are useful in understanding the relativistic laser-plasma interactions. Here the authors extend the model of holeboring for arbitrary profiles of laser pulse and plasma scale ...

Fission in the landscape of heaviest elements: Some recent examples

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2016
The fission process still remains a main factor that determines the stability of the atomic nucleus of heaviest elements. Fission half-lives vary over a wide range, 10−19−1024 s.

An unusual titanosaur axis from the Upper Cretaceous of Brazil and its significance for sauropod anatomy and systematics

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract The Upper Cretaceous São José do Rio Preto Formation (Bauru Group, southeastern Brazil) has yielded a fragmentary but taxonomically diverse record of titanosaur sauropods, although elements from cervical series remain scarce. Here, we describe a nearly complete sauropod axis from the Vila Ventura Paleontological Area, representing an uncommon ...

Recent Precision Experiments with Exotic Nuclei Produced with Uranium Projectiles and Experimental Prospects at Fair

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
Precision experiments with relativistic fragments separated in-flight require special experimentalmethods to overcome the inherent large emittance from the creation in nuclear reactions and atomic interactions in matter. At GSI relativistic exotic nuclei

Efficacy, safety and cost‐effectiveness of CAR‐T therapy

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
CAR T‐cells demonstrate high efficacy in blood cancers, including ALL, MM and DLBCL. Innovations target solid tumours despite challenges such as antigen escape. Combination therapies enhance the delivery and infiltration of CAR T cells. Toxicity, cost and resistance remain major barriers to clinical use.
