Resilient Biophysical Phenotype of Memory CD4 + T Cells in Long‐Lived Mice

open access: yesImmunology, Volume 178, Issue 2, Page 363-374, June 2026.
Aging is associated with increased stiffness and reduced migratory capacity of memory CD4+ T cells; however, these biophysical declines do not persist in exceptionally long‐lived mice. Instead, long‐lived individuals preserve T cell mechanics, migration and intracellular architecture, supporting mechanical resilience as a hallmark of successful immune ...

Electron Dispersion at the Electron Edge of the Earth's Magnetospheric Cusp

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 10, 28 May 2026.
Abstract The Tandem Reconnection and Cusp Electrodynamics Reconnaissance Satellites (TRACERS) mission observes electron energy‐latitude dispersion at the equatorward edge of the magnetospheric cusp, and high‐cadence Analyzer for Cusp Electrons (ACE) measurements resolve the dispersed edge. The inverse velocity dispersion (low energy before high energy)

The Importance of Non‐CO2 ${\text{CO}}_{\mathbf{2}}$ Greenhouse Gases to Arctic Warming and Sea‐Ice Loss

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 10, 28 May 2026.
Abstract Anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) are the main cause of Arctic climate change. While carbon dioxide (CO2 ${\text{CO}}_{2}$) is undoubtedly the largest contributor, the impact of non‐CO2 ${\text{CO}}_{2}$ GHGs on the Arctic system has not been quantified to date.

Assessing Earth's Energy Imbalance Trend in the Early 21st Century in Two High‐Resolution Coupled Models

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 9, 16 May 2026.
Abstract Satellite observations since 2001 show an increasing Earth's energy imbalance (EEI) at the top of the atmosphere of 0.45 W m−2 dec−1, a trend understated in coupled climate models. We assess the 2001–2024 EEI trend in historical simulations of two high‐resolution coupled models, CM4X, a revised version of CM4.0, and CESM‐HR, a high‐resolution ...

Total Synthesis of rac‐Keramamine C Enabled by Intrinsic H‐Bond‐Induced Conformational Fixation of Amides

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 18, 14 May 2026.
The total synthesis of the manzamine alkaloid keramamine C (2) in its racemic form was achieved in 5 steps, with ring‐closing metathesis as the key step. The metathesis is strongly improved by an intramolecular H‐bond‐induced conformational fixation of the amide bond, inducing close proximity of the terminal double bonds in the precursor molecule.
