An Analysis of the Tvergaard Parameters at Low Initial Stress Triaxiality for S235JR Steel
This paper discusses the influence of the Tvergaard parameters, qi, which are basic constants of the Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman (GTN) material model, on the numerically simulated load-carrying capacity of tensile elements made of S235JR steel.

Experimental characterization and numerical modeling of micromechanical damage under different stress states [PDF]
The use of HSLA steels for the manufacture of automotive components is interesting from an engineering point of view. This family of steels, while possessing high strength, also has good formability and can be used in forming manufacturing processes.

Orbit measures, random matrix theory and interlaced determinantal processes [PDF]
A connection between representation of compact groups and some invariant ensembles of Hermitian matrices is described. We focus on two types of invariant ensembles which extend the Gaussian and the Laguerre Unitary ensembles.

Limit shape and height fluctuations of random perfect matchings on square-hexagon lattices [PDF]
We study asymptotics of perfect matchings on a large class of graphs called the contracting square-hexagon lattice, which is constructed row by row from either a row of a square grid or a row of a hexagonal lattice.

Application of an Advanced GTN Model [PDF]
The present contribution consists of implementing an advanced GTN damage model as a “User Material subroutine” in the Abaqus FE code. This damage model is based on specific nucleation and growth laws. This model is applied to the prediction of the damage evolution and the stress state in notched specimens made of dual phase steel.

GTN-ED: Event Detection Using Graph Transformer Networks [PDF]
Recent works show that the graph structure of sentences, generated from dependency parsers, has potential for improving event detection. However, they often only leverage the edges (dependencies) between words, and discard the dependency labels (e.g., nominal-subject), treating the underlying graph edges as homogeneous. In this work, we propose a novel

Corrosion Inhibition Effect of Carbon Steel in Sea Water by L-Arginine-Zn2+ System
The inhibition efficiency of L-Arginine-Zn2+ system in controlling corrosion of carbon steel in sea water has been evaluated by the weight-loss method. The formulation consisting of 250 ppm of L-Arginine and 25 ppm of Zn2+ has 91% IE.

Background: Thrombolysis, with or without thrombectomy, for acute ischaemic stroke is associated with an increased risk of intracranial bleeding. We assessed whether treatment with glyceryl trinitrate (GTN), a nitric oxide donor, may influence the ...

Interference cancellation assisted lattice-reduction aided detection for MIMO systems [PDF]
In this paper, we proposed and investigated the optimal successive interference cancellation (SIC) strategy designed for lattice-reduction-aided multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) detectors.
