Journal of the World Aquaculture Society, Volume 53, Issue 2, Page 452-474, April 2022., 2022 Abstract This study investigates the trophic interactions and As and Cd transfer along seven marine ecosystems in Peru. Five of these ecosystems are driven by aquaculture of the Peruvian scallop Argopecten purpuratus. A southward increased gradient of δ15N was observed among the three examined regions along the Peruvian coast.

The samples were collected at different times over a 4 day period in September 1995, during vertical tows with a conical net of 200 um mesh size at a fixed station (30 m depth).
