Using Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA to Assess Genetic Diversity and Structure of Natural Calophyllum brasiliense (Clusiaceae) Populations in Riparian Forests

open access: yesInternational Journal of Forestry Research, Volume 2014, Issue 1, 2014., 2014
The objective of this study was to assess the genetic variability in two natural populations of Calophyllum brasiliense located along two different rivers in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, using RAPD molecular markers. Eighty‐two polymorphic fragments were amplified using 27 primers.

SISTEMA AGROFORESTAL DE YUCA Y GUANANDI (Calophyllum braziliense) EN EL VALLE DE PARAÍBA, ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO, BRASIL [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
La eliminación de vegetación ribereña y un uso intenso de terrazas en el Valle del Río Paraíba do Sul, Estado de São Paulo, Brasil, han causado la degradación de la tierra y la lixiviación de nutrientes y sedimentos por la lluvia.

DETERMINATION OF MOISTURE CONTENT AND STORAGE POTENTIAL OF GUANANDI SEEDS

open access: yesFLORESTA, 2019
Guanandi is a native forest species with particularities that make it difficult to store of seeds, because of its recalcitrant behavior and since a specific and practical protocol to determine the moisture content of its seeds is not available yet. This work had the purpose to test procedures to determine the moisture content and to study different

Análise fisiológica em mudas de guanandi (calophyllum BRASILIENSE cambess) submetidas ao déficit hídrico [PDF]

open access: yesAGROPECUÁRIA CIENTÍFICA NO SEMIÁRIDO, 2017

Micropropagation of Calophyllum brasiliense (Cambess.) from nodal segments

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Biology
Micropropagation of Calophyllum brasiliense Cambess. (Clusiaceae) is a way to overcome difficulties in achieving large-scale plant production, given the recalcitrant nature of the seeds, irregular fructification and absence of natural vegetative ...

Comparative herbaceous phytosociology in agroforestry and Calophyllum brasiliense monoculture on a river terrace

open access: yesRevista Agrogeoambiental, 2020
Invasive forage grasses, especially the Urochloa genus, impact reforestation worldwide. The aim of this study was to evaluate management influence on phytosociology of the herbaceous layer, defined as the layer of herbs, sub-shrubs, shrubs and vines, in
