Stability study of recombinant 9-valent human papillomavirus vaccine based on Escherichia coli expression system

open access: yesHuman Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics
This study reports on the long-term stability of a recombinant 9-valent HPV vaccine, addressing a gap in the literature as previous research did not extend beyond 72 months.

Discovery of Novel Materials with Giant Dielectric Constants via First‐Principles Phonon Calculations and Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
We discovered novel materials with giant dielectric constants by combining first‐principles phonon calculations and machine learning. Screening 525 perovskites identified six candidates. RbNbO3 was synthesized under pressure and showed ε ≈ 800–1000. This validates our framework as a powerful tool for high‐performance dielectric materials discovery.

Harnessing Machine Learning to Understand and Design Disordered Solids

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This review maps the dynamic evolution of machine learning in disordered solids, from structural representations to generative modeling. It explores how deep learning and model explainability transform property prediction into profound physical insight.

Guarded Teams: The Horizontally Guarded Case

open access: yes, 2020
Team semantics admits reasoning about large sets of data, modelled by sets of assignments (called teams), with first-order syntax. This leads to high expressive power and complexity, particularly in the presence of atomic dependency properties for such data sets. It is therefore interesting to explore fragments and variants of logic with team semantics

Redistributive land reforms, agricultural productivity, and structural change: New cross‐national evidence

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Agricultural Economics, EarlyView.
Abstract Large‐scale land reforms constitute a substantial redistribution of wealth and reallocation of agricultural land, which is a major form of asset and production input in developing countries. While land redistribution (from the rich to the poor) remains a highly controversial issue, extensive evidence on its effect is limited.

Choice experiments on land managers' participation in environmental programs: A systematic review and meta‐analysis of estimate validity

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Agricultural Economics, EarlyView.
Abstract Discrete choice experiments are increasingly being used to estimate land managers' willingness to accept participation in incentive‐based environmental programs. This is a specific application of discrete choice experiments: the estimation of willingness to accept for a private good (program participation) where respondents have to make trade ...

The rain feels different under the same umbrella: Experiences with poverty across LGBTQ subgroups

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract Population‐based survey data have demonstrated that LGBTQ communities report varying rates of economic insecurity, yet very little research directly assesses how pathways into and experiences with poverty look different among subgroups at the intersections of sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI).

The psychosocial toll of Dublin III on asylum seekers in the Netherlands

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract The Dublin III Regulation determines which EU Member State is responsible for examining asylum claims, but its implementation carries significant consequences for those subjected to it. This study examines how Dublin III, as implemented in the Netherlands, affects asylum seekers' psychosocial wellbeing using Silove′s Adaptation and Development

E-GuARD: expert-guided augmentation for the robust detection of compounds interfering with biological assays

open access: yesJournal of Cheminformatics
Assay interference caused by small organic compounds continues to pose formidable challenges to early drug discovery. Various computational methods have been developed to identify compounds likely to cause assay interference. However, due to the scarcity
