CTP Ontology: A Semantic Model for Structuring Cultural Thematic Paths
Abstract A thematic path enhances the appreciation of cultural heritage by connecting diverse cultural objects through shared themes. This study introduces the Cultural Thematic Path (CTP) Ontology, designed to support the creation, organization, description, publication, and management of thematic paths within the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives,

An ML-Based Estimate and the Cramer-Rao Bound for Data-Aided Channel Estimation in KSP-OFDM
We consider the Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) for data-aided channel estimation for OFDM with known symbol padding (KSP-OFDM). The pilot symbols used to estimate the channel are positioned not only in the guard interval but also on some of the OFDM carriers, in

Orthogonal Chirp Division Multiplexing
Chirp waveform plays a significant role in radar and communication systems for its ability of pulse compression and spread spectrum. This paper presents a principle of orthogonally multiplexing a bank of linear chirp waveforms within the same bandwidth ...

ABSTRACT Social anxiety (SA) is highly prevalent among autistic adults, yet little is known about how autistic people respond to common therapeutic strategies, such as exposure tasks. This study examined responses to a structured speech exposure task embedded within an 8‐week modified cognitive–behavioral therapy (M‐CBT) program.

Filter-bank based efficient transmission of Reduced-Guard-Interval OFDM
We propose a new way to structure the digital signal processing for reduced guard-interval (RGI) OFDM optical receivers. The idea is to digitally parallelize the processing over multiple parallel virtual sub-channels, occupying disjoint spectral sub-bands. This concept is well known in the optical or analog sub-carrier domains, but it turns out that it

ABSTRACT Physical activity is critical for health, yet many adolescents do not engage in regular activity. Youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual disability (ID) may be at heightened risk due to motor, sensory, and social barriers, but less is known about complete disengagement.

Intravenous lanadelumab for the treatment of moderately ill COVID‐19 patients
Aims Kallikrein‐kinin system (KKS) dysregulation is hypothesized to play a pathogenetic role in COVID‐19‐associated pulmonary oedema. To investigate the efficacy and safety of intravenous lanadelumab, a monoclonal antibody that inhibits plasma kallikrein, in COVID‐19, we conducted a phase 2, open‐label, randomized‐controlled, proof‐of‐concept ...

Abstract Background and Purpose Drug–drug interactions (DDIs) are associated with an increased risk of adverse drug reactions (ADRs). Hospitalized children are particularly vulnerable to DDIs and ADRs due to polypharmacy, frequent use of unlicensed or off‐label medications, and dosing regimens often extrapolated from adult data.

Transmission of a 1.12 Tb/s superchannel over 452 km fiber
This paper describes the transmission of a non-guard interval 1.12 Tb/s 10-carrier superchannel, launched into a 226 km recirculating loop. After two round trips (452 km) a BER below the FEC limit (3.8 x 10-3) was still obtained.

Educational pathways and outcomes for care‐experienced children: A 16‐year longitudinal study
Abstract Children who are removed from their birth families during childhood—termed care‐experienced—can be at risk for lower educational attainment and poorer school experiences, often linked to deprivation and behavioural factors. However, research often uses aggregated measures that obscure the complexities of care (e.g.
