Psidium guajava leaves contain potent bioactive compounds like quercetin, myricetin, and triterpenoids that show antioxidant, antidiabetic, anti‐inflammatory, and anticancer effects. They act by modulating NF‐κB, PPARγ, and α‐glucosidase and by inducing apoptosis and cell cycle arrest.

Phytonematodes on Guava Plant

Gejala penyakit oleh fitonematoda ditemukan pada pertanaman jambu biji di Desa Cibening, Kecamatan Pamijahan, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Tanaman sakit menunjukkan gejala antara lain: tanaman kerdil, daun menguning, nekrotik akar dan puru akar. Ekstraksi nematoda dilakukan dari 100 mL sampel tanah dan 5 g sampel akar tanaman jambu biji.
