This work investigates the synergistic roles of in situ formed SiOx shells and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) networks in stabilizing silicon anodes. By combining electrochemical impedance spectroscopy with distribution of relaxation times analysis, interfacial processes during lithiation are decoupled and analyzed.
