CO2‐to‐CO Electrolysis in Pure Water at Ampere‐Level Current Density and 1000 h Stability via a Rapid‐Transport Fixed‐Charge Interface

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CO2 reduction in pure water is enabled by a rapid‐transport fixed‐charge interface that couples nanochannels with a cationic microenvironment. This design eliminates the mass transport plateau, stabilizes key reaction intermediates, and suppresses the hydrogen evolution reaction, ultimately achieving ampere‐level current densities and stable operation ...

Experimental evaluation of new pipe sleeve with weep holes for concrete leakage prevention [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Mortar is a layer with high water absorption rate over concrete due to its porous structure. The mortar layer that frequently exposed to water or moisture is more likely to contain moisture in its layer.

A High‐Throughput Live Imaging Platform to Investigate Circuit‐Dependent Regulation of Circadian Rhythms in Brain Tissue

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Biological rhythms coordinate physiology, from genes to behavior. Study of circadian rhythms in brain tissue is constrained by limited throughput and spatial and temporal information quality. A new platform for high‐throughput, long‐term multiplexed fluorescent live imaging of circadian rhythms in brain slices is introduced.

Semantic matching in GUI test reuse

open access: yesEmpirical Software Engineering
Abstract Reusing test cases across apps that share similar functionalities reduces both the effort required to produce useful test cases and the time to offer reliable apps to the market. The main approaches to reuse test cases across apps combine different semantic matching and test generation algorithms to migrate test cases across apps ...

Engineering Neuronal Network Connectivity Through Precise and Scalable Electrical Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a scalable all‐electrical method for precise neuronal‐circuit reconfiguration based on high‐density microelectrode arrays. By employing biologically inspired plasticity rules, targeted connectivity changes were successfully induced and quantified across diverse neuronal preparations.

A directed greybox fuzzer for windows applications

open access: yesScientific Reports
Directed greybox fuzzing (DGF) has proven effective in vulnerability discovery, but most efforts focus on the Linux platform, with substantially less attention devoted to Windows platform due to its closed-source and GUI software nature.

A Catalytic Osmium Redox Couple Collapses Cancer Redox Balance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A stable Os(III)/Os(IV) redox couple is developed to disrupt the tumor cell redox balance by concurrently catalyzing ROS generation and GSH depletion. Osmium‐treated cells exhibit multiple cell death pathways, including apoptosis, ferroptosis, and immunogenic cell death.
