An Effective GDP-LSTM and SDQL-Based Finite State Testing of GUI

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The Graphical User Interface (GUI) is the most promising factor in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDL), which allows the users to interact with the system. To ensure user-friendliness, GUI Testing (GT) is required. The traditional testing techniques

Human Voice Recognition by Using Hebb Artificial Neural Network Method

open access: yesBuletin Fisika, 2018
It has been created a program to recognize human voice by using artificial neural network (ANN). The ANN method used is Hebb. Hebb was chosen because it is the simplest ANN so the training and testing process is faster than other methods.

Generating Predicate Callback Summaries for the Android Framework

open access: yes, 2017
One of the challenges of analyzing, testing and debugging Android apps is that the potential execution orders of callbacks are missing from the apps' source code.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Maintenance of Automated Test Suites in Industry: An Empirical study on Visual GUI Testing

open access: yes, 2016
Context: Verification and validation (V&V) activities make up 20 to 50 percent of the total development costs of a software system in practice. Test automation is proposed to lower these V&V costs but available research only provides limited empirical ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.
