Pancreatic adenocarcinoma in guinea fowl
Avian Pathology, 1993Pancreatic adenocarcinoma is a rare neoplasm of poultry. This condition is hereby described in an adult male guinea fowl that died suddenly in a flock of apparently healthy birds. Capillariasis in a Vulture Guinea Fowl
Avian Diseases, 1999A case of capillariasis was diagnosed in a 5-yr-old male vulture guinea fowl (Acryllium vulturinum) with clinical signs of weakness, anorexia, and vomition. Necropsy revealed that the bird was severely emaciated and the liver was congested. The entire mucosa of the crop and esophagus was severely thickened as a result of the presence of fibrinonecrotic

Pancreatitis caused by reovirus in guinea‐fowl
Avian Pathology, 1994Pancreatitis caused by a reovirus was observed among 8- to 22-day-old guinea-fowls held under extensive conditions in groups of 10,000 birds. With the virus isolated from the affected birds the disease entity could be reproduced experimentally. Adenoviral Pancreatitis in Guinea Fowl (Numida meleagris)
Avian Diseases, 1989Necrotizing pancreatitis was observed in 2-week-old Guinea fowl submitted for necropsy and histopathology. Intranuclear inclusion bodies seen histologically in acinar epithelium were examined by electron microscopy and found to contain viruses resembling adenovirus. Adenovirus was isolated in embryonated eggs from the pancreata of affected birds.
