Glacial and gully erosion on Mars: A terrestrial perspective [PDF]
The mid- to high latitudes of Mars host assemblages of landforms consistent with a receding glacial landscape on Earth. These landforms are postulated to have formed N5 Ma under a different climate regime when Mars' orbital obliquity was on average 10° higher than today.

The potential of permanent gullies in Europe as geomorphosites [PDF]
Geotourism is a useful way to educate societies in the field of geomorphology and natural hazards. Geosites, including geomorphosites, represent the basis for the development of this type of tourism.

Application of the GIS in the Determination of Susceptible Areas to Gully Erosion Using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) [PDF]
Gully erosion is types of water erosion that its occurrence and development lead to the loss of fertile agricultural soil, depletion of soil and groundwater. The objectives of this study were to investigate gully erosion and determine the sensitive areas

A Review of Landscape Design as a Means of Controlling Gully Erosion [PDF]
Gully erosion is the most visible and devastating form of soil erosion known to be one of the leading causes of land degradation worldwide. Landscape design is one of the techniques used in combating this problem. The objective of this paper is to review

A Review of Rainfall Erosivity as a Natural Factor of Gully Erosion [PDF]
In this 21st century which is climate change-driven with more extreme rainfall events, gully erosion is increasingly becoming a global environmental problem influenced by both natural and anthropogenic factors.

Intensive landscape-scale remediation improves water quality of an alluvial gully located in a Great Barrier Reef catchment [PDF]
Gully erosion can be a major disruptor to global fluvial sediment budgets. Gully erosion in the catchments of the Great Barrier Reef is attributed to ∼40 % of fine suspended sediment pollution to the freshwater and marine ecosystems downstream ...

Factors controlling the morphology and volume (V)–length (L) relations of permanent gullies in the Northern Ethiopian Highlands [PDF]
Small-scale aerial photographs and high-resolution satellite images, available for Ethiopia since the second half of the twentieth century as for most countries, allow only the length of gullies to be determined.
