Abstract Our knowledge of the immune system continues to expand at a rapid pace, and this coupled with technological advances now enables us to interrogate both the breadth and the depth of the immune response at levels without precedent. This has also facilitated rapidly integrating some of this carefully vetted knowledge into clinical practice ...

The graphical abstract illustrates a reconstructed in situ thermo‐hydro‐mechanical (THM) framework in which porosity serves as the central variable linking stress, pore pressure, and temperature to evolving mechanical properties of rocks. Under burial conditions, in situ stress, pore pressure, and temperature jointly govern volumetric strain and ...

Achievement of Transition Metal Chalcogenides/Oxides in Hydrogen Production by Seawater Electrolysis
Transition metal chalcogenides (TMCs)/oxides have shown great application potential in seawater splitting for hydrogen generation due to their adjustable electronic properties, abundant active sites, and excellent catalytic performance. ABSTRACT Under the impetus of global “dual carbon” goals, green hydrogen has become a key component of the future ...

Gaps continue in firearm Surveillance: Evidence from a large U.S. city Bureau of Police
Word Count: 330 While the broad relationship between violence, poor health outcomes and firearms is well-established, there is limited research in the public health field on the source of guns collected by police departments, many of which are used ...

High‐performance SIB anodes are developed using mangrove wood–derived hard carbon, optimized through controlled carbonization temperatures and pitch‐derived soft carbon coatings. The resulting PC‐10 composite achieves a superior reversible capacity of 297.5 mAh g−1 and an 82% ICE by suppressing irreversible reactions and enhancing interfacial stability

A sprayable POE‐based sorbent formulated with a green solvent blend of α‐pinene, D‐limonene, and p‐cymene enables rapid in situ film formation via solvent evaporation, allowing efficient pollutant capture. The system exhibits high oil uptake (37.3 g g−1) and effectively removes up to 60 mL of VLSFO under simulated marine spill conditions.

Gun Ownership and Gun Culture in the United States of America
Almost everyone agrees that gun ownership is part of the complex fabric of values and traditions that comprise American society. All sides in the gun ownership debate understand that firearms are embedded deeply in America’s society and culture. But whereas for some the right to own guns is a non-negotiable promise guaranteed constitutionally, for ...
