Morphology of the gynoecium in Labiatae

open access: yes, 1982
Two gynoecial primordia are initiated as discrete units but soon get interconnected by the occurrence of interprimordial growth between them. A rim of meristematic tissue thus produced gives rise to the ovary wall by zonal growth. The residual floral apex grows parallel to the gynoecial primordia in the form of a septum.

Morphological and taxonomic overview of fruits in representatives of subclass Caryophyllidae in the flora of Ukraine

open access: yesUkrainian Botanical Journal
Subclass Caryophyllidae is a paraphyletic group among the clade of superasterids; its taxonomic circumscription has undergone major changes due to molecular phylogenetic results.

Morpho Evo-Devo of the Gynoecium: Heterotopy, Redefinition of the Carpel, and a Topographic Approach

open access: yesPlants
Since the 19th century, we have had countless debates, sometimes acrimonious, about the nature of the gynoecium. A pivotal question has been whether all angiosperms possess carpels or if some or all angiosperms are acarpellate.

Morphological fruit types of basal angiosperms in the flora of Ukraine

open access: yesІнтродукція Рослин
Basal angiosperms is a paraphyletic group of plants before branching eudicots and monocots. This group of angiosperms is of great scientific interest because it is the most ancient representative of the flowering plants retained for today.
