A simple two‐pot furnace method for synthesizing silicon nanoparticles is presented. The method utilizes silicon, heat, and either PVA or hydrogen gas to grow silicon nanoparticles on nano graphite. The produced silicon‐nano graphite composite is evaluated as lithium–ion battery anode, and is shown to exhibit stable electrochemical cycling with a 35 ...

Evaluation of 54 functional/dispersion approaches for Mn(I) and Re(I) carbonyls shows that meta‐GGA and hybrid meta‐GGA functionals, particularly TPSSh(D3zero) and r2SCAN(D3BJ/D4), achieve the best balance of accuracy and efficiency, reproducing geometries, CO stretching frequencies, and energetics consistent with DLPNO‐CCSD(T).

From Synoptic to Submesoscale: Understanding Sensible Heat Flux Variability in the Southern Ocean
Abstract Advances in uncrewed surface vehicles enable expanded observations in the critically undersampled Southern Ocean—a region vital for global heat uptake. Using data from three Saildrone missions that sampled the Pacific sector of the Southern Ocean in both summer and winter, we evaluate processes and spatiotemporal scales of decorrelation that ...

Bubble Distribution Along Major Rivers in the Amazon During the High‐Water Season
Abstract Ebullition (gas bubbling) from aquatic ecosystems is an important pathway for gas transport from waterbodies to the atmosphere. The spatial and temporal variability of bubbles is typically high and often driven by the distribution of temporary or permanent hotspots.

ABSTRACT This article analyses the only Jewish girls’ school in nineteenth‐century Sweden, Sophiaskolan, and the discussions about girls’ education and Bildung that emerged within the community – including regarding Judaism's ‘Oriental heritage’. The community meetings were a male sphere in which men discussed women's role within Jewish tradition. This

Optimized hot‐pressing conditions (200°C, 10 MPa, 25 min) were identified using a DOE approach. Two TPU layers (29.9 wt%) achieved the best interlaminar adhesion, yielding a 67% increase in T‐peel strength. Dynamic mechanical analysis revealed lower activation energy at optimal composition, indicating improved fiber‐matrix interaction.

ABSTRACT The dorsal and ventral hippocampus have distinct processing properties, but it remains unclear if interneuron subtypes differ in connectivity along the dorsoventral axis. Oriens lacunosum‐moleculare (OLM) interneurons, identified by the Chrna2 gene, are known to regulate memory processes differently along this axis. OLMɑ2 cells bidirectionally
