On Riemann–Liouville Integral via Strongly Modified (h,m)-Convex Functions

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
The generalization of strongly convex and strongly m-convex functions is presented in this paper. We began by proving the properties of a strongly modified (h,m)-convex function. The Schur inequality and the Hermite–Hadamard (H-H) inequalities are proved

Certain new bounds considering the weighted Simpson-like type inequality and applications

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
We investigate a weighted Simpson-type identity and obtain new estimation-type results related to the weighted Simpson-like type inequality for the first-order differentiable mappings.

Bioinspired Adaptive Surfaces for Intelligent Liquid Manipulation: Progressing From Passive and Active to Hybrid Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines passive, active, and hybrid liquid manipulation strategies, highlighting hybrid approaches as an emerging route to reconcile energy efficiency with adaptive control. By actively reconstructing passive surfaces to store programmable interfacial energy, hybrid systems enable flexible yet low‐power liquid transport, with perspectives ...

A Third-Order Differential Equation and Starlikeness of a Double Integral Operator

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2011
Functions f(z)=z+∑2∞‍anzn that are analytic in the unit disk and satisfy the differential equation f'(z)+αzf''(z)+γz2f'''(z)=g(z) are considered, where g is subordinated to a normalized convex univalent function h. These functions f are given by a double

Soft Skins With Reversible Thickness Morphing: Materials, Mechanisms, and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Evolution of electronic skin (e‐skin) technologies toward adaptive, multifunctional soft skins. Phase I highlights early rigid and discrete sensory interfaces. Phase II shows the transition toward flexible, stretchable, and large‐area e‐skin. Phase III captures the emergence of computational e‐skin.

Closed‐Loop Solid‐State Synthesis Planning for Materials Discovery With Large Language Models

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Leveraging literature data, we build a large‐language‐model‐driven workflow that extracts synthesis steps from 4407 papers, retrieves similar precedents, and generates candidate solid‐state synthesis recipes. The system benchmarks against ground‐truth and then operates in a closed loop with experiments to synthesize oxy‐selenide electrolyte materials ...

Properties of the modulus of continuity for monotonous convex functions and applications

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1995
For a monotone convex function f∈C[a,b] we prove that the modulus of continuity w(f;h) is concave on [a,b] as function of h. Applications to approximation theory are obtained.

Euler's Beta function diagonalized and a related functional equation [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2004
Euler's Gamma function is the unique logarithmically convex solution of the functional equation \[\varphi(x+1)=x\varphi(x),\quad x\in\mathbb{R}_{+};\quad \varphi(1)=1,\] cf. the Proposition. In this paper we deal with the function \(\beta :\mathbb{R}_{+}\

High‐Power Rapid Laser‐Induced Synthesis of Multi‐functional Cobalt Metal‐Organic Framework With an Unprecedented Synthesis Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.
