Greening Under Pressure: Climate Change Exposure and Eco‐Innovation

ABSTRACT This study explores the impact of climate change exposure on corporate eco‐innovation. Recognizing the urgent need to address climate change, we examine how firms directly respond to climate risks through eco‐innovation. Our findings indicate that climate change exposure is positively associated with corporate eco‐innovation.

Enzymatic Oxidation of Carbohydrate Byproducts for Use in Formation of Chitosan Hydrogels

Carbohydrates, i.e., xylooligosaccharides derived from corn cobs and lactose derived from dairy byproducts, were selectively oxidized using fungal oxidoreductases AbPDH1 (pyranose dehydrogenase from Agaricus bisporus) and FgrGalOx (galactose oxidase from Fusarium graminearum).

Tuning Potassium Concentration in Empowered Supports for Fischer‐Tropsch Synthesis

Incorporation of potassium into LaAl0.8Mn0.2O3‐δ perovskites (empowered supports) is shown to tune Fischer‐Tropsch (FT) performance. Increasing the potassium content (0–8 at.%) progressively enhances CO conversion up to 2 at.%; above which the catalytic activity enhancement is modest.

Introducing the Cis‐2,3‐Bis(trifluoromethyl)cyclopropyl Chemotype: Late‐Stage Installation and Stereoelectronic Properties

The cis‐2,3‐bis(trifluoromethyl)cyclopropyl chemotype is introduced. The steric demand of this motif is intermediate between that of the heptafluoroisopropyl and prefluorotertbutyl groups; yet, it induces significantly less lipophilicity than these due to its facial polarity.
