AISI TYPE H12

Alloy Digest, 1981
Abstract AISI Type H12 is a general-purpose, low-carbon, chromium-molybdenum-tungsten hot-work steel for tools and dies that require high toughness. It has high hardenability and offers high resistance to softening in service at elevated temperatures. It also offers good resistance to heat checking and may be water cooled in service.

An Overview of the H12 Performance Assessment in Perspective

MRS Proceedings, 2002
ABSTRACTThe H12 performance assessment (PA) provided a test for the robustness of a HLW repository system concept based on structured siting and design, taking account of a wide range of potentially suitable Japanese geological environments. The generic nature of the host rock in the H12 assessment means, however, that emphasis is placed verymuch on ...

Gastroenteritis associated with enterotoxigenic escherichia coli 078 H12

Irish Journal of Medical Science, 1985
ROUTINE laboratory examination of faeces from five infants with diarrhoea who were admitted to a Gastroenteritis Unit, failed to detect Salmonella, Shigella, Campylobacter jejuni, Yersinia enterocolitica, traditional enteropathogenis strains of E. coli, viruses or ova and parasites.

Key Aspects of the H12 Safety Case

MRS Proceedings, 2000
ABSTRACTIn Japan, as outlined in the overall high-level radioactive waste (HLW) management program defined by the Japanese Atomic Energy Commission (AEC, 1994), HLW from reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel will be immobilized in a glass matrix and stored for a period of 30 to 50 years to allow cooling.

Self-association-driven transition of the β-peptidic H12 helix to the H18 helix [PDF]

open access: possibleOrg. Biomol. Chem., 2012
Various patterns of foldameric oligomers formed by trans-ABHC ((1S,2S,3S,5S)-2-amino-6,6-dimethylbicyclo[3.3.1]heptane-3-carboxylic acid) and β(3)-hSer residues were studied. NMR, ECD and molecular modelling demonstrated that octameric and nonameric sequences with multiple i-i+3 ABHC pair repulsions attain the β-H18 helix in CD(3)OH.

H12 Colostomy Closure in Anorectal Malformation

2013
The proximal stoma is packed with Betadine-soaked packing gauze. Multiple 5-0 silk sutures are placed at the mucocutaneous junction around both limbs of the stoma to allow for uniform traction (Fig. 1). An elliptical wedge-type incision is made around the two stomas and carried down through skin, subcutaneous tissue, aponeurosis, muscle and ...

nπ Transitions in tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanedithione-h12 and -d12

Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 1980
Abstract The polarized low-temperature crystal absorption spectra of tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanedithione-h12 and -d12 have been measured in the visible region, and nπ ∗ excited states identified as follows: 3Au with origin ( h 12 d 12 ) at 16 829 16 836 cm −1 ; 1Au and 1B10 with nearly degenerate origins near ...

Application of Supplementary Safety Indicators for H12 Performance Assessment

MRS Proceedings, 2000
ABSTRACTThe safety of a geological disposal system can be assessed using defined indicators such as risk and dose level, which directly measure radiological effects on human beings. Since the safety assessment of a geological disposal system covers a very long period of time, there are inherent uncertainties involved in assumptions about future human ...
