A new H10-to-H20 mode transducer

Using a general method of mode-transducer design previously described, a simple H10-to-H20 mode transducer was constructed. The reflection coefficient is calculated, and it is shown that for a transducer a few wavelengths in length the reflections are insignificant. Hyperbranched aliphatic polyester of the grade Boltorn-H20 were obtained by polycondensation of 2,2bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid with polyhydric alcohols [1, 2]. They were phosphorylated with 2,4-bis(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,3,2,4-dithiadiphosphethane 2,4-disulfide [3] and 2-(N,N-diethylamido)1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinane [4].

Phosphorylation and Thiophosphorylation of Oligomeric Polyesterpolyols of Boltorn H20, H30, and H40

Dialkyl phosphate derivatives of Boltorn H20, H30, and H40 were prepared by the use of ultrasound irradiation in the substitution reactions of the polyesterpolyols with dialkyl chlorophosphates. Unsaturated polyacrylates were obtained by the reactions of Boltorn H20, H30, and H40 with acryloyl and methacryloyl chlorides.

Four wooden artifacts were analysed from context H20/10/48 and the species of wood identified. Two objects were found to be made from hazel (Corylus avellana L.) and two were made from exotic woods, sweet chestnut (Castanea sativa Mill.) and silver fir (Picea abies Mill.).

(CH3NH3)3PrCl6 · 2 H2O has been prepared as light green, air sensitive crystals by the reaction of PrCl3·xH2O with [CH3NH3]Cl in ethanol. The compound was characterized by crystal structure determination. Crystal data: monoclinic space group I 2/a, Z = 8. Lattice constants: a = 1963.3(4), b = 925.9(3), c = 1954.3(4) pm, β = 90.56(1)°.
